LAC-FCCAC would like to leave as a legacy people who can provide children, youth, young adults, families and the community members with strength, knowledge, imagination and deep caring”.

 

Purpose of LAC-FCCAC::

1. Support the professional growth of service providers through workshops and seminars.

2. Support the network of community agencies that directly/indirectly impact the level of incidences of child abuse.

3. Advocate for African American child abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment services.

4. Disseminate information, legislation and funding resources related to African American family and/or child abuse prevention.

LAC-FCCAC’ Annual Conferences have centered on cultural, ethnic, professional, and community issues, new concepts, treatment and policies relating to family and child abuse prevention. Example of topics have included:
